She was predeceased by: her parent Stella Marie Ray; her husband Michael Waldrep; and her siblings, Virginia "Kathy" Buchanan, Nancy Harden and Randy Ray.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Waldrep Powell and Scottie Waldrep; her grandchildren, Lily Grace Powell and Aiden Ty Waldrep; and her siblings, Diana Monk, Betty Hall, Teresa Hughes, Pam Bentley, Sandra Douglas (Calvin) and Rodney Ray. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Moss-Service Funeral Home (1901 2nd Ave N, Nashville, TN 37208). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at the Flint Creek Cemetery (3048 Co Rd 1354, Vinemont, AL 35179).
