It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Calvert of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ofel Calvert and Margrette Millicent Speegle Calvert; his wife Wilma'Betty'Calvert; his son Matt Calvert; and his brothers, Denny Calvert, James Garren Calvert and Norman Calvert.
He is survived by: his children, Suzette Williams (Mark) and Kip Calvert (Terry); his daughter-in-law Esther Calvert; his grandchildren, Brandon Calvert (Karissa), Chris Calvert (Amy), Alexis Persons, Evan Calvert, Matt Calvert, Alysa Calvert, Alexandria Calvert, Alivia Calvert Alaina Calvert, Heath Williams (Amanda), Austin Williams and Tiffany Williams; and his brothers, Frank Calvert (Vergie) and Greg Calvert (Kathy). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cullman Funeral Home (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making donations to Cullman Caring For Kids.
