She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Smith and Ruth Gable Smith; and her grandmother Elizabeth. She is survived by: her husband Warren S. Stewart, Jr.; her children, Sharon Stewart Fenstermaker, Melinda Stewart Harbison and Warren Sterling Stewart III; her grandson Michael Sterling Harbison; and her brother Larry Joe Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Food Ministry at First Baptist Church Cullman.
