He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edgar and Dorothy Christine Hamilton Hays; and his brothers, David Hays and Thomas Hays. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hays; his sons, Wayne Hays and Michael Hays; and his grandson Nicholas Hays.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cullman Funeral Home (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055).
