With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Wayne Murphree of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on July 22, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, L. D. Murphree and Florence Helen Murphree. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Moore (Nathan), Amy Teasley and Ben Murphree (Deanna); his sister Elaine Umphrey; his grandchildren, Blaise Wilson (Kayland), Morgin Strickland (Levi), Olivia Teasley and Noah Teasley; his former wife Rebecca Spradlin Kenemore (Judy); and his daughter Brooke Marks. He is also survived by other family members, friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moss-Service Funeral Home (1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Moss Service Funeral Home (1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055).
