He is survived by: his wife Sheila Sharpton Hilburn; his children, Debbie Hilburn Lowery (Eric), David Hilburn, Drew Hilburn (Crystal) and Jonathan Burns; and his brothers, Willie Hilburn (Ann), Donald Hilburn, Ronald Hilburn and Ray Hilburn. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren 12 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
