He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Lafayette and Odell Clara Rasco Smith; and his wife Bonnie Ruth Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Smith (Archilene) and Michael Smith (Brenda Walker); his grandchildren, Anthony Smith, Natalie Smith, Stephanie Goolsby (Jason), Stephanie Ashley (Phillip) and Andy Smith; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Smith, Wesley Smith, Callan Smith, Branson Danecker, Ashlyn Danecker, Jase Goolsby, Charlie Ashley, Cara-Grace Ashley, Colt Ashley and Cade Ashley.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gold Ridge Community Center (5225 Co Rd 1545, Cullman, AL 35058).
