He was predeceased by : his parents, Newman C. Scott and Lizzie Bell Russell Scott; his daughter Malinda Smith; his son-in-law Stevie Smith; his granddaughter Nicole Smith; his son-in-law Benny Bailey; and his siblings, Betty Lorene Jones, Eunice Turner, Jerry Scott and Gary Scott.
He is survived by : the mother of his children Bonnie Faye Bagwell Pirkle; his daughter Glenda Bailey; his brother Roy Scott; his grandchildren, Clint Smith (Cyndal), Whitt Bailey (Rachel) and Ginger Bailey; and his great grandchildren, Caden Smith, Braden Smith, Rhett Bailey and Benny Bailey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
