He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Woods Reid; his parents, Edwin Allen Reid and Amanda Odell Reid; and his brother Don Allen Reid. He is survived by: his niece Adrienne Reid Whitehurst (Jason Whitehurst) of Trussville, AL; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashtyn Nanette Whitehurst, James Grayton Whitehurst and Madison Marie Whitehurst.
