James Rodney Creel Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hershell and Julia Nell Nail Creel; and his siblings, Wilburn Joseph "Joe" Creel, John Larry Creel and Sarah Lou Creel Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Golden Creel; his children, Selina Butts (Tim), Sharon Tidmore (Greg), Susan Patterson (Les) and James Steven Creel; and his brother Keith Creel (Susie). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and many extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Welcome Baptist Cemetery. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at the Welcome Baptist Church (3017 Co Rd 1564, Baileyton, AL 35019).
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking you make donations to East Cullman Baptist Association, Gideons International, St Jude, or Welcome Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
