She was predeceased by: her husband Charles K Rice Sr.; and her grandson Zachary Charles Wayne Rice. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Rice Mann, Myra Rice Richardson and Charles K. Rice Jr.; and her sister Jackie Jackson. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family acts that donations be made to Birmingham Children's Hospital or the Alzheimer's association.
