He was predeceased by: his parents, Madie Waters and Hosie Waters; and his wife Susan Williams Waters. He is survived by: his children, Carrie Thomas (Ryan) of Guntersville, Melanie Townson (Matt) of Cullman and Nathan Waters (Maggie) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Riley Thomas, Tyler Thomas, Lanie Townson, Max Townson, Addie Townson, Baylor Waters and Paxton Waters; and his niece Emily Tate (Steve) of Milton, GA..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. John's Evangelical Protestant Church (512 2nd Ave SE, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
