He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Conn Jr.; and his wife Cissie Conn. He is survived by: his mother Mary Willingham Conn Lambert; his children, Tanya Dawn Massey, Joseph Edward Conn IV, Rachel Conn Holland and Jessica Conn Pettus; and his siblings, Mike Allen, Liza Abadin, Yolonda Chalkley and Greg Conn. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cullman Funeral Home and Crematory (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055).
