She was predeceased by: her father Charles D. White; and her daughter Tannis Michelle McCombs. She is survived by: her husband Winfred Echols; her mother Doris P. White; her children, Gayla Robbins, Jeffrey Dale Tankersley and Waylon Echols; her son-in-law Brian McCombs; and her siblings, Janet Oden (D. H.), Brenda Link (William) and Charles M. White. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel (1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055). The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM.
