She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Dewey Yates and Eloise Cummings Yates; her sister Vickie Davis (Paul); and her niece Kimberly Traylor. She is survived by: her husband Jerry W. Nelms; her children, Jeremy Nelms (Elizabeth) and Katie Fine (Jacob); her siblings, Glenda Brooks (Lamar) and Glenn Yates (Cynthia); and her grandchildren, Bradlee Nelms, Cooper Fine, Milo Fine, Mara Nelms and Eloise Fine. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Desperation Church Cullman children's ministry, Desperation Kids, in Judy's honor.
