He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Brown and Esther Ruth Long Brown; his wife Fannie Bell Brown; his daughter Doris Brown McBrayer; his children-in-law, Zelda Brown and Larry McNabb; his granddaughter Heather McBrayer; and his great grandchildren, David Austin, Brodie Miller and Koby Tankersley.
He is survived by: his children, Carol McNabb, Linda Pannell (Teddy) and Robert Brown; and his siblings, Frank Brown (Martha), Clyde Brown (Sally), Frances Wall, Louise Nelson and Shirley Brown. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, a host of great and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moss-Service Funeral Home (1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
