In the vast expanse of eternity, Lila shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lila farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her son Marty Freeman; her husband Charles D Freeman; and her parents, Pierce Roden and Maggie Roden. She is survived by: her children, Charlene Estes (Keith) and Vince Freeman (Melissa); her daughter-in-law Sonja Freeman; her sisters, Linda Garmon (Nile) and Carolyn McKoy (David); and her sisters-in-law, Francis Dean and Maria Rhodes. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moss-Service Funeral Home (1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
