She was predeceased by : her parents, Johnie Colburn and Vernice Hill Colburn. She is survived by : her husband Bobby Ray "Popcorn" Ayers; her sons, Johnie Ayers (Susie) and Damian Thompson (Melinda); her grandchildren, Hugh Harper (Kayla), Nikki Bright (Isaac), Whitney Wigginton (Jake), Nevaeh Ayers, Josie Ayers, Marcus Thompson (Olivia), Brooklyn England, Courtney McLemore (Krissy) and Austin Feltman; her great grandchildren, Olivia Bright, Adalee-Mae Harper, Ashton Feltman, Alijah Feltman, Jaxon Nichols, Ryleigh Wigginton, Kyler Thompson, Kayden Thompson and Jaxon Lee Franklin Pelt; her brother Horace Colburn (Bonnie); and her close friend Cindy Shifflet (Larry). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, friends are respectfully encouraged to make a memorial contribution in Lois' honor to the New Home Baptist Church in Moreland.
