It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydon Clayton Scroggins of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolphus Lydon "Doc" Scroggins and Ellen Maunette Garrett; his grandparents, Charlie Frank Scroggins, Vallie Bell Bracewell Scroggins, Clayton Whitfield Garrett and Berea Lucille Harden Garrett; and his daughter Amy Lachelle Scroggins Drake.

He is survived by: his wife Rachel Rowe Mountz (Scroggins); his daughters, Cassie Noel Scroggins Sparks and Nikki Lee Scroggins Wheat; and his stepdaughter Drew Mountz Baldwin. He is also survived by 4 son-in-laws, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson.
