She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Eldon Posey; her son Thomas "Buster" Posey; her daughter-in-law Connie Posey; and her brother Larry Woody. She is survived by: her son Charles Posey; her daughter-in-law Deborah Posey; her grandchildren, David Posey (Nikkie), Dale Posey (Ashli) and Danette Hassler (Tim); and her brothers, Junior Woody and Bill Woody. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Emeus Cemetery (680 Co Rd 834, Logan, AL 35098).
