He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Steele and Leona Steele (Stouder); and his brother Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Carol; and his stepchildren, Scott, Connie (Mitch), Brett (Maria) and Curtt (Christina). He is also survived by fourteen step grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (615 3rd Ave SE, Cullman, AL 35055).
