He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Nix; and his sister Carol England. He is survived by: his mother Betty Nix; his children, Shawn Nix, Jason Keeton, Angela Quintana (Alex), Stacey Nix and Erika Nix; his brother Roger Nix; and his grandchildren, Tristen Dewberry, Cameron Cross, Mackenzy Nix, Landon McCoy, Bayleigh Nix and Gage Nix. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cullman Funeral Home (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
