Schela is survived by: daughters, Michelle Riethman-Aufderhaar and Angela Norman (Chris); grandsons, Brenden Riethman, Gabriel Aufderhaar, Phillip Aufderhaar, Jacob Riethman and Greyden Norman; and siblings, Anna Noah, Ken Dutton and Oneal Dutton. Schela is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
