She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry McCreight and Lucille McCreight; her former husband Charles Reeves II; her siblings, David McCreight and Sue Hogan; her son David Glenn Reeves; and her daughter-in-law Claire Reeves.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby King; her son Charles Reeves III (Jordan); her stepsons, Buddy King (Kelly) and Jeff King King (Mary); her grandchildren, Megan Reeves, Baylee Polson (Ryan), David Reeves (Kelsey), Kathleen Ferrelli (Will), Kennedy King, Kassidy King, Andrew King, Allie King, Katie King Hood (Chris), Nathan King, Rachel King and Hannah Newman (Michael); her niece Mary Dodd (Mike); her great-nephew Michael Dodd (Stacey); and her great-niece Melissa Dodd. She is also survived by eight great grand children.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Hospital in Shirley's memory.
