He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Parker Thornton; his parents, William Fabeous and Jewel Dean Thornton; his brother Jimmy Thornton; and his granddaughter Alainah Leigh Glover.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Moody (Danny) and Jennifer Thornton; his grandchildren, Kallen McDonald (Scott), Victoria Lynn Glover, Hollie Caroline Bowden (Michael), Caitlin McDonald and Trace Moody (Whitney); and his great grandchildren, Levi Moody, Bryant Moody, Kade Moody and Luke McDonald.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moss Service Funeral Home (1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055).
