She was predeceased by: her parents, Odell Brown and Lula Mae Brown; and the father of her children JW Strickland. She is survived by: her children, Alice McCloskey, Jimmy Strickland (Elle), Barney Strickland (Anita) and Ricky Strickland (Shirley); and her siblings, Jeraline Williamson, Margie Childs (Marlin) and Doris Mote. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren.
