With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Mabe of Cusseta, Alabama, who passed away on September 28, 2025 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stephen Mabe to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Stephen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Stephen farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Mavis Eastridge Mabe; his daughters, Lacie Mabe, Stephanie Morgan and Virginia Weaver (David); and his stepchildren, Lisa Cooper (Ken) and Mark Brewer (Leslie). He is also survived by grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, four sister in laws, two brother in laws and multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The National Kidney Foundation in Stephen's memory.
