As Betty departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Betty leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Riley Sims and Emma Louise Ford; her husband Lamar Harper; and her adoptive mother Minnie Sims. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Crabtree and Brenda Payne (Gene); her grandchildren, Kyle Crabtree (Madison), Kimberly Jennings (Connor) and Kevin Crabtree; and her great grandchild Emmerson Crabtree. She is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews.
