It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Rex Simms of Dadeville, Alabama, born in Fayetteville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Howell Simms and Kelly Simms; and his stepdaughter Dana Carol Crumley. He is survived by: his wife Carol Price Simms; his children, Tammy Simms Peyton (B. F.) and Bobby Rex Simms, II (Nancy); his stepdaughters, Amy Yates (Michael) and Jill Crumley; his grandchildren, Tiffany Boyte Almes, Ragan Simms Chambless and Austin Jordan Simms; his stepgrandchildren, Justin Boulware, Robert Boulware, Adison Yates, Aeron Yates, Cameron Spain, Crystal Norris, Jay Simms and Brody Simms; his great grandchildren, Carson Grey Chambless, Elle Riley Chambless, Charlotte Kate Almes, Henry Gray Almes, Luke Jordan Simms and Saylor Jane Simms; and his brother Gary Ned Simms (Debbie).
