He is survived by: his wife Ruth Mitchell Sims; his sons, Josh Sims (Destiny) and James Sims; his stepdaughters, Erica Mann (Dustin), Rachael Pennington (Scott) and Rebeccah Haynes (Justin Jackson); his grandchildren, Caleb Marshall (Elizabeth), Hunter Phillips (Madisyn), Courtney Sims, Marlo Pennington, Olivia Pennington, Keaton Manies, Jamison Sims, Kolten Manies, Abigail Sims and Maddie Haynes; his great grandchild Colson Marshall; his stepmother Gayle Sims; and his brother Tony Sims (Peggy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
