She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Hammon (Nellie Tidwell Hammon) and Nellie Hammon; and her brother James Hammon. She is survived by: her husband Duran Phillips; her daughter Brenda Goad (Mark); her grandchildren, Mark Goad Jr. (Robbie) and Joanna Goad; her great grandchild Carter Davis; her sister-in-law Mary Hammon; and her brother Thomas Hammon (Shirley). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
