She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Eli Hugh Etheredge and Ruby Williams Etheredge of Loretto, TN. She is survived by: her husband Eddie "Sonny" Roy; her sister Jeanette Etheredge Rawlston; her half-siblings, Gene Etheredge, David Hanson and Bonnie Hanson; her children, Donna Lindsey Erickson (Paul), Thomas Jeffrey Lindsey (Gretta) and Mark Etheredge Lindsey; her stepson Thomas Roy (Penny); her grandchildren, Brandon (Rilee), Cody Erickson, Caleb (Kate), Mallory, Ashley Lindsey, Brooke Durham, Samuel Roy (Jessica) and Michelle Roy Pierce (Tim); and her great grandchildren, Cody Paul Erickson, Anna Lindsey, Davis Paul Erickson, Houston, Harlan, Murphy Roy, Savannah and Dalton Pierce.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church (2801 Hwy 31 S, Decatur, AL 35603). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, family asks for memorial donations to be made to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home in Decatur, AL.
