It is with sadness that the passing of Rita Kay Wilson of Danville, Alabama is shared. Rita, born on October 11, 1947, passed away on June 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie "Bud" Keenum and Mildred Keenum; her son Brent Carlton Wilson; and her siblings, Roger Keenum and Dianne Gillespie.

She is survived by: her husband Johnny Wilson; her daughters, Marla Odom (Shane) and Cindy Cole (Nicholas); her grandchildren, Jolee Fortenberry (Connor), Wren Cole, Maci Cannon (Will) and Ty Odom; her great grandchildren, Oaklynn Cole, Colt Fortenberry and Wrenleigh Fortenberry; and her sister Carolyn Balch. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
