She was predeceased by: her parents, James Richard and Bessie Ratliff Livingston; and her siblings, Ara Lowery, Ruby Lee Collins of Hartselle, Ruth Randolph of Danville, Lena Bullard of Hartselle, Frances Morris of Hartselle, Odell Nicholson (Mutt) of Hartselle, Shirley Johnson of Moulton, Bobbie Bolan of Moulton, Edward Livingston of Danville and Carmon Livingston of Danville.
She is survived by: her husband Arnold Melson; her daughter Karen Melson of Danville; her sister-in-law Emogene Livingston of Danville; her nephew A. D. Halbrooks; and her great-nephews, Jayme Johnson, Keith McCay, Lucas Randolph, Matt Raley and Kurt Randolph. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
