We bid farewell to Vera Jackson of Danville, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 8, 2025 at the age of 85. Vera touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jody Cooper and Para Lee Childers; her son Steve Jackson; and her siblings, Cecil Cooper, JC Cooper, Bobby Ray Cooper, Odean Hagood and Lee Ella Randolph.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Jackson; her children, Mike Jackson (Betty), Rhonda Jackson (Brian), Darryl Jackson, Donna Jackson (Scott) and Jason Jackson (Paige); and her sister Frances McCarrick (Joe). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (12950 AL-157, Moulton, AL 35650). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Shiloh Cemetery (1654 Co Rd 89, Danville, AL 35619).
