She was predeceased by: her parents, Jody Cooper and Para Lee Childers; her son Steve Jackson; and her siblings, Cecil Cooper, JC Cooper, Bobby Ray Cooper, Odean Hagood and Lee Ella Randolph.

She is survived by: her husband Dennis Jackson; her children, Mike Jackson (Betty), Rhonda Jackson (Brian), Darryl Jackson, Donna Jackson (Scott) and Jason Jackson (Paige); and her sister Frances McCarrick (Joe). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
