She was predeceased by : her parents, Rafael Carroll and Allene Carroll. She is survived by : her siblings, Wayne Carroll (Brenda) of Foley, AL. and Gita White of Charlotte, N. C.; her children, Mitch Whiteside (Becky) of Fairhope, AL. and Cathy Brown (Brian) of Birmingham, AL.; her grandchildren, Ashley Smith (Ian), Brittany Roberts (Charlie), Ryan Whiteside (Nicole), Taylor Brown (Megan) and Georgia Whiteside; her great grandchildren, Bobby Sassaman, Kathryn Smith, Jodi Whiteside, Rory Roberts, Charlotte Brown and Wren Roberts; her nephew Taylor White (Anne); her great-niece Audrey White; and her great-nephew Adam White.
Although Barbara had a great love of flowers and gardening, the family asks in lieu of flowers, that donations be considered to Alzheimer's Association at https://www.alz.org to help find a cure and preventions for dementia related diseases.
