She was predeceased by : her husband Hollis Norman Powell; and her sister Sadie Louise Giles Perkins. She is survived by : her children, Edward Wayne Powell (Karen) of Conway, SC, Troy Eugene Powell (Elaine) of Elba, AL and Patricia Elaine Powell Rieben (Danny) of Louisville, AL; her brothers, Ray Edward Giles of Troy, AL, George Raymond Giles of Tuscaloosa, AL, Roy Henton Giles of Tuscaloosa, AL, Ronnie Gerald Giles of Summerdale, AL, Roger Lamar Giles of Eufaula, AL, Rufus Lee Giles of Union Springs, AL and Ralph Leon Giles of Foley, AL; and her grandchildren, Brent Powell, Mandy Anderson, Elizabeth Mathews, Steven Powell, Rachel Metcalf, Michelle Sasser and Kendal York. She is also survived by twenty-five great grandchildren.
