He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Lane Sr. and Mary McNeil Lane; and his sister Betty Bellamy. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Lane; his children, Tomiko Lane, Colonel LeRon Lane, Brandon Thomas and Luke Thomas; his grandchildren, Jordan Lane, Jacob Lane, Nahla Thomas and Noah Thomas; and his siblings-in-law, George Howell, Kenneth Howell (Mae), Terry Howell, Arthur Jennings, Carolyn Howell, Synthia Howell and Sharon Jennings-Jackson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
