He was predeceased by: his parents, Loonis Henry McDaniel and Verlie Futral McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Needra Peters McDaniel; his children, David McDaniel (Cameron) and Dana Cotney (Clay); his grandchildren, Colby McDaniel, Victoria McDaniel, Morgan Daugherty (Duston), Heydin McDaniel, Meagan Young (Blake) and Trent Cotney (Harleigh); his great grandchildren, Gunnar McDaniel and Jan Marie Young; and his sister Reba Wadsworth (Mike). He is also survived by many extended family members and life long family friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Daviston Baptist Church (211 Church St, Daviston, AL 36256). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Daviston Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
