He was predeceased by: his son Scott Rucks; his parents, C. O. Rucks and Lillian Rucks; and his brother Clovis Rucks. He is survived by: his wife Gail Richey Rucks; his children, Lori Smith (Jeffery) and Stacey Rucks (Kelly); his sister Jackie Sue Culbert (Terry); his grandchildren, Jarrod George, Keely Rucks, Kolby Rucks, Ashley Rucks and Sidney McKoy; and his great grandchild Nathan Rucks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shepherd's Cove Hospice.
