He is survived by: his wife Ellen Beale Smith; his children, Wennifer Williams, Paula Smith, Madilyn Smith, Jon-Michael Smith, Timothy Smith, Charlie Williams and Michael Mosley; his siblings, Dorothy Rogers, Robin Rowell, Michelle Sanders, Wiladeen, Willard Smith, Rickey Smith, Vernon Cowart and Jeremy Sanders; and his grandchildren, Philip Williams, Amber Williams, Damian Graham, Regan Gilbert, Jim Smith, Aiden Smith and Nolan Smith.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
