He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Dennis Dyling and Dorothy Rebecca Magaw Dyling; and his siblings, Betty Jane Feehly, Frances Schneider, Charles Magaw, Martin Magaw, Donna Truitt, Ruth Ann Magaw, Raymond W. Dyling, John Dyling (Jack) and Deborah Wunderlich.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Holland Dyling; his sons, Steven (Judee) and Mark (Marissa); his granddaughter Isabella (Sukura); and his siblings, Gary Dyling (Sandie), Allan Dyling (Carol), Marlene Luscombe and Donna Heavilin.
