He was predeceased by : his former life partner Donna Strawder Snowden; his parents, Clarence Franklin Snowden and Myra Black Snowden; and his brothers, Clarence Franklin Snowden Jr. and Elie Eugene Snowden.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Jean Snowden; his children, Sherilyn Gitchel (David), Vicki Thompson and Michael D. Taylor (Tammy); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Gitchel, Matthew Gitchel, Victor Taylor, Dexter Taylor, Ty Taylor, Auston Sisk and Brandi Sisk; and his great grandchildren, Ryleigh Taylor, Maesyn Taylor, Hunter Taylor and Zoe Sisk. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
