It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Nell Brackin Stewart of Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Brackin and Earline Brackin; her husband James Norman Stewart; and her brother Buddy Brackin. She is survived by: her son Marty Stewart (Lane); her grandchildren, Luke Stewart (Emily), Regan Stewart and Brackin Stewart; her great grandchildren, Henry Hoyt Stewart, Molly Frances Stewart and Thomas Allen Stewart; her siblings, Vona Elkins, Reba Sibley and Wayne Brackin (Darlene); and her sisters-in-law, Judy Gilliland and Syble Tidwell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
