He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Suggs and Julia Price Suggs Crawford; and his stepfather Cecil Crawford. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Letson Suggs; his son Don Suggs Jr. (Gwen); his grandsons, Dustin and Joshua; his son Phillip Suggs (Leslie); his grandchildren, Emily and Adam; his daughter Edie Suggs Dugger (Jason); his grandchildren, Becca and Matt; his great grandchild Julie Suggs Bishop (Nathan); Ethan and Adalyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Austinville United Methodist Church.
