It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Jean Posey of Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tenneth Boyd and Edna Elizabeth (Smith); her husband Billy Posey; and her brother Jerry Boyd (Terry). She is survived by: her children, Laddie Cannon (Brenda), Tina Cannon Reeves, Kim Parker, Wendy Posey Singleton (Tammy) and Allison Blaxton (Jason); her grandchildren, Preston Nelms (Paige), Emily Bergeron (Kourtney), Autumn Hiland (Bradley), Hayden Auen (Chandler), Logan Cannon (Megan), Dakota Colvin, Devin Shaw (Kasandora), Emma Parker, Allie Parker, Bella Parker, Callie Parker, Bailey Reeves, Clay Moreland, Ryleigh Moreland, Taylor Singleton and Lucas Flemming; and her close friends, Martha Breeden and Karen Schlangen. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
