It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Jean Posey of Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tenneth Boyd and Edna Elizabeth (Smith); her husband Billy Posey; and her brother Jerry Boyd (Terry). She is survived by: her children, Laddie Cannon (Brenda), Tina Cannon Reeves, Kim Parker, Wendy Posey Singleton (Tammy) and Allison Blaxton (Jason); and her grandchildren, Preston Nelms (Paige), Emily Bergeron (Kourtney), Autumn Hiland (Bradley), Hayden Auen (Chandler), Logan Cannon (Megan), Dakota Colvin, Devin Shaw (Kasandora), Emma Parker, Allie Parker, Bella Parker, Callie Parker, Bailey Reeves, Clay Moreland, Ryleigh Moreland, Taylor Singleton and Lucas Flemming. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral Home (23599 AL-24, Trinity, AL 35673). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
