It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Glenn Palmer of Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on May 18, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reese Palmer and Estelle Wray Palmer; his son Jeffery Glenn Palmer; and his siblings, Bobby Palmer, Pervis Palmer, Charles Palmer and Wanda Palmer Daniel.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Dean Palmer of Priceville; his children, Greg Palmer (Tracey) of Trinity and Tracy Silas (Michael) of Harvest; his grandchildren, Emily Palmer of Trinity and Nathan Silas (Brianna) of Athens; and his sister-in-law Jean Palmer of Hartselle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made in Earl's name to the Hospice of the Valley.
