He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmanuel Byron and Ruby Tucker Trimble; and his siblings, Don Trimble, Colleen Goodyear Cook and Shirley Ross.

He is survived by: his children, Courtney Harwell Trimble and Travis Byron Trimble; his wife Sharon Harwell Trimble; his grandson Charlie Trimble; and his sisters, Beverly Trimble and Maxine Eaton.
