He is survived by: his wife Sharon Nelson Hughes; his children, Mickey Hughes, Kelli McInnis (Tom) and Edie Ramey (Robert); and his grandchildren, Kyle McInnis (Kelly), Haley McInnis and Brittany Fontaine (Jason). He is also survived by twelve great grand children.
