He is survived by: his parents, Jack Gilchrist Sr. and Betty Steenson Gilchrist; his children, Jack and Kate; his sister Gigi McNalley (Rick) of Decatur; and his nieces, Andrea Gerwin (Brett) and Sophie Gillette (Zack). He is also survived by 8 great nieces and nephews.
